Rules & Regulations

1. Fees and deposits are non refundable or transferable. Once course has commenced full course fees is payable whether course is completed or not. A deposit of 25% is required to reserve a vacancy on any of our courses minimum 2 weeks before the commencement of any course.  Short courses are to be fully paid for 2 weeks prior to commencement of the course.  Kit should be paid for with the deposit.
2. All students must telephone if they are going to be absent, more than 3 days absent requires a doctors certificate.
3. Students are requested to be ready for tuition instruction. Punctuality is essential as no instruction will be duplicated.
4. No jewellery is to be worn with the exception of a wrist watch, as jewellery is contra-indicated during facial and body treatments. This also includes body jewellery i.e. tummy rings, tongue piercing etc.
5. Smoking or chewing gum is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
6. Sums of money and valuables are not to be brought to the centre, as we cannot be responsible for any loss.
7. Use of mobile phones is not permitted on the premises.
8. All course materials are the copyright property of Cornerstone Beauty Academy and may not be used by anyone else.
9. Students are expected to provide their own models for all Practical Assessments. Students will also be expected to bring in models for practical experience.
10. Assessment dates will be given. Failure to take an assessment for any reason whatsoever will result in the student waiting for the next date which may not be to students convenient.
11. All students are required to behave in a courteous and respectful manner to their colleagues, tutors and staff.
12. Cornerstone Beauty Academy reserves the right to terminate the training of students who fail to comply with the rules or where the student is found to be academically unsuitable. In the event of this happening fees and deposits will not be refunded.
    
    

Notes

1. Students who gain their diplomas are entitled to join the British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology.
2. Due to the frequent advances which occur in science and cosmetology and to our policy of continuous improvement it is reasonable to expect that changes to the syllabus are necessary from time to time. Cornerstone Beauty Academy reserves the right to add/or amend the syllabus without previous notice.
